Uniform Information

 

The colours of our school’s dress code are navy, grey and white. Uniform items with embroidered logos are available from the school office; other plain items are available from most high street retailers and stores. Fleece jackets with school logo are also available to buy.

 

Temporary uniform:

Due to the current requirement for classrooms to be well ventilated, we are aware that rooms may be colder that usual.  The following temporary changes have therefore been made and the current uniform policy is as follows:

 

Reception/KS1: will do daily activity so may choose from the following:

Blue Summer dresses and navy/log cardigan/logo jumper.

OR

Grey trousers/skirts and white/blue polo shirt with navy/logo cardigan/logo jumper.

OR

Plain black joggers/the new grey logo joggers and white/blue polo shirt with navy/logo cardigan/logo jumper.

 

Footware must be safe and sensible black shoes or trainers (no coloured trainers or socks).

NB: If wearing dresses or skirts, pupils will need s P.E Kit for Gymnastics.

 

KS2:

Blue Summer dresses and navy/log cardigan/logo jumper.

OR

Grey trousers/skirts and white/blue polo shirt with navy/logo cardigan/logo jumper.

OR

Plain black joggers/the new grey logo joggers and white/blue polo shirt with navy/logo cardigan/logo jumper.

Footware must be safe and sensible black shoes or trainers (no coloured trainers or socks).

KS2 pupils will also require a school P.E Kit, namely white/logo t-shirt and Navy shorts or joggers.

School uniform:

 

  • Navy sweatshirt or cardigan with embroidered school logo
  • White, blue shirt/polo shirt/blouse (embroidered polo shirts available)
  • Grey pinafore/skirt/trousers (appropriate for school – not fashion items)
  • Grey, black or white socks/tights
  • Dark coloured suitable shoes (no trainers/heels)
  • Blue summer school dress

 

PE Kit:

 

Please note that appropriate kit is essential for outdoor PE lessons, which take place across KS1 and 2.

 

  • Plain white t-shirt
  • Plain blue or black shorts/jogging bottoms
  • PE trainers for outdoor lessons
  • A tracksuit or other appropriate warm, loose clothing for outdoor lessons (please avoid hooded tops). These should be plain with no slogans or logos and in school colours.
  • Long hair must be tied back for all lessons

 

Swimming: 

 

Unfortunately, our on site swimming pool is closed until further notice.  We do provide the opportunity for children to take swimming lessons, which are currently held at Parish Wharf Leisure Centre, Portishead.  At present, our Year 5 children are swimming weekly.

Girls should wear one-piece swimming costumes (no bikinis) and boys should wear swimming trunks and rash vests, if desired (no baggy shorts which impede flow through the water). Longer hair for both sexes must be tied back for all lesson, children can use a swimming cap.
