Every moment in school counts and days missed quickly add up. Our school community is here to support pupils and families establish and maintain good attendance. Evidence shows that pupils who have good attendance enjoy better well-being and school performance.

For clarification, term time holidays will be recorded as unauthorised unless a leave of absence for exceptional circumstances has been granted. A Penalty Notice will be issued if your child has 10 unauthorised sessions (5 days) within 10 school weeks. This is in line with our KMAT Attendance Policy and government statutory guidance ‘Working together to improve school attendance’.
