Science at Crockerne

Science at Crockerne is as real as we can make it. We use practical projects and advice from real scientists to create engaging studies and experiments that have practical applications. We study the changing ideas in science and significant figures such as Plato, Isaac Newton, Rachel Carson, Darwin, Jane Goodall, Mary Anning and many more. We truly believe that every child should have the opportunity to study and understand science and actively promote the inclusion of all in science. We seek out and take part in opportunities for our children to share and show off their scientific skills and understanding through inter school competition and our participation in the Eco Schools programme.
