How to Apply to Our Reception and for Years 1 – 6

If you’re looking to join or transfer your child to Crockerne Church of England Primary School, you can easily apply through the North Somerset Council website.

We do not carry out open days.  We prefer to meet 1:1 (very small groups may be organised) so that you can get a really good feel for our school and how it would meet the needs of your child and family.  We really hope that after your visit you will choose to put us as your first choice but we also advise that you visit other schools to ensure you make the right choice for your family.

Applications for transfers for children starting in September will open from the previous September and close in December (Please check the local authority website for the correct dates), you must apply as soon as you can within the allotted time for your child to be in the first round of allocations.

Before you start the application process, you will need the following information:

• Your child’s full address (including postcode)
• Your child’s date of birth.

The application process will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete, and you are able to save your progress and return to it at a later date if you find you cannot complete it in one go. Once you have completed an application, you are able to edit it up until the deadline (date may change each year and it is important to check the website.
